Mourning Light by Serena Weits

Grief & Loss

There is no timeline for how long grief lasts.

Experiencing a loss in life—whether it’s the death of a loved one, losing a part of your identity, or a relationship loss—is a challenging aspect of life.

Death of a loved one, losing a part of your identity, or a relationship loss

Complicated emotions may arise, including anger, worry, numbness, and sadness. The loss may be traumatic or even ongoing. Our work together will allow space for any emotions that are present, no matter how many times it needs to be repeated.

You may feel like it’s not living anymore, now that it’s so different.

It is especially difficult when you are not ready for the usual routines in life to continue.

How life can look going forward.

I am here to help. I’ll meet you where you are in this process and address the challenges you are facing. We can begin moving toward a life that accepts grief and allows change while determining how life can look going forward--even if you aren’t sure yourself right now.

You do not need to do this alone. There are individual and group therapies that can support your process, honor your status, yet help you move forward in your life. Reach out and see how we can work together to help you decrease your suffering.
